Join this workshop by an experienced fermenter, Margaret Mossakowska from Moss House to learn how to safely ferment fruit and vegetables. It is a skill worth having, because fermented foods increase the diversity of our internal ecosystem – gut flora – by feeding beneficial organisms which are the building blocks of our immune system and impact mental health. Think about fermenting as packing health into a jar!
During the session you will see examples of finished products. What's better, you will make a jar of seasonal kraut to take home! There will be ample time to ask questions and fermenting recipes will be emailed to you after the workshop.
Please bring an apron and a small knife. All jars and vegetables will be supplied.
