Summer Wedding Receptions

There is so much to love about a summer garden wedding. The outdoor setting seems to calm the nerves, and who doesn’t love being serenaded by birdsong and cicadas, and smelling the sweetness of green grass and eucalyptus in the air?

At Eden Gardens we have some specifically designed places to host the perfect wedding, with our bride lawn and green amphitheatre able to accomodate weddings with up to 250 guests. We also have the space to host culturally diverse experiences. Over the years we have had brides riding in on horse back, drummers sounding the celebration, dragon dancers and themed weddings. It’s all part if the rich tapestry of life which Eden Gardens is happy to host.

Our award winning display gardens make a great backdrop for photos, and you can have 500 people wandering around the garden comfortably and still not be in shot! Our wisteria covered arbours, water lily and lotus-filled ponds and flowering garden beds make for great wedding photography, and our annual art exhibition Eden Unearthed is also showing till the end of April, so there is opportunity to have some fun with these installations too. The aerial walkway and tower also make for interesting perspective shots.

Choose between having the ceremony at Eden Gardens or both ceremony and reception. We can provide catering options for drinks and canapés in the garden, or seated at one of the many under cover areas. We can also set up tables under market umbrellas along our cafe terrace by the fountain for a fantastic summer vibe.
